Dear Jamilla 1

Dear Jamilla,
Alot of things have changed since you went in, last week. I honestly don't know if you're still in. No one will tell me anything about your case.

I know you probably can't read these because I'm pretty sure they don't have internet, but I miss our conversations.

You see, on Wednesday of last week, a teenage boy was summoned to his mother's chambers. Instantly, he didn't know what to expect. His mother began,"Okay son. I need you to be strong...I need you to be my big boy".
At that point, so many thoughts ran through his mind. But none of them compared to the picture he saw on the packet of papers that was shoved into his lap. Immediately, tears welled in his eyes and the room seemed smaller and smaller. Unable to control himself, the smile slowly, but surely, melted of the boy's face and hysteria filled the room. Sobs of fear, pain, loneliness, abandonment, yet understanding blurred his vision and snatched up his judgment. He began punching the bed in anger, crying out to the Heavens for mercy, glaring in rage, his teeth clenched in disbelief. The image burned into his mind, and tattooed onto his psyche.

Welp, I hate to admit it, but last Wednesday, that person was me.

Hopefully, this letter will be the first of many as I attempt to share my life with you.

Until idk when,
Matt
